Welcome to our Forum. In preparing to answer your question I reviewed some of your earlier interactions on the HIV Community site- I agree with what was said there and in particular the advice that nursegirl has given you. The exposure you describe was very low risk- your partner is unlikely to have HIV. Remember, fewer than 1 in 1000 men in the U.S. has HIV and your partner sounds to be lower than average risk. Further, a single encounter with an infected partner has a risk of less than 1 infection per 1000 sex acts. Thus, mathematically, if you had sex with him three times, your risk for infection even before testing was less than 3 in a million. Then testing at 6 weeks as you did would have detected over 95% of recent infections. Thus your risk for infection is now far less than 1 in 30 million- you are far more likely to be struck by lightning than to have gotten HIV form the exposure you describe.
Please don't let your OCD get the best of you. There is no realistic chance that you acquired HIV from the encounters that you have described. EWH
