I had a stent put in my heart in Nov. 08. After going through the procedure twice two days in a row I ended very sick. I have had problems with my mouth ever sence this procedure was done. My lips feel very chapped sore and pimples all over them. I put a hankie in my mouth for some kind of relief. Is this common after a stent implant?

Have you spoken to your doctor regarding the symptoms?  It is not an expected result from the procedure, and you should contact your doctor.  It could be a reaction to contrast agent injection that went into your blood stream for the test or something else. Only your doctor with your health history, other symptoms, medication taken, etc. can provide a diagnosis.

Hope this helps, and if you have any new or further evidence, you are welcome to respond.  Let us know what the doctor has to say about your very interesting and unusual symptoms.  Take care.
