Stomach pains are often a misdiagnosis among patients for chest pain. The two can feel very similar indeed. I've had pains from heart attacks and reflux and the two can feel the same, so much so that I've gone to hospital believing I'm having heart attack when my heart was fine.
Not literally stomach pains, no. The aorta does run all the way down the chest and abdomen, and it should be checked by CT to make sure there is nothing going on with the aorta itself. Another thing that should and undoubtedly will be checked is your coronary artery flow, to make sure there are no blockages there; sometimes a coronary blockage will cause what the patient experiences as "stomach pain." Those are the only cardiovascular issues that I can think of that might cause the symptom you mention. Otherwise, something may be going on in the abdomen itself, such as acid reflux or gallstones or whatever. Or maybe you are just experiencing stress from the situation, which is understandable. The stomach pains should be reported to your doctor. He or she will have a better idea of what is likely. Good luck.
