Blood Pressure

What are normal BP fluctuation numbers?  Numerically how many points between a low reading and a high reading can be considered normal?

Going by the new guidelines of the American Heart Association 120/80 is "pre-hypertensive", I think this is ridicuilous, but these are the new guidelines.

Normal BP is 120/80. Higher than this should be of concern.

Low BP is considered better, upto a limit of course.
