is there something wrong with my heart?

hi i am 11 and i think that i have a heart problem because every time when someone says something upsetting my heart feels weird can u help me? will this problem kill me? help please this has been happening since my girlfriend broke up with me i am still upset about that

Drifta, I'm sorry you've had a break up.  You have your whole life ahead of you.  Keep your head up and keep smiling....but it's ok to be sad at the moment, I hope you have people to talk to.  Our hearts do feel funny when we are upset, but just to be on the safe side, I would describe what you're feeling to a doctor.  They will know if its the normal feelings or something else.  At your age it's unlikely to be anything worrisome, but if it turned out to be, it will be better for the doctor to know and then you can have treatment.  I expect your heart will be healthy though.

that fact that it started since your breakup is a very strong indication that there is nothing wrong with your heart.

Normally the effects of a broken relation wear off quickly.
Still, if your symptoms persist, a short visit to your GP might be an extra reassurance that your heart is just fine.
