Palpitation HELP!!!

Hi, new here. I have suffered from palpitations for the last 10 years or so. Nothing serious but enough to cause me some concern. I have vistied several docs and do the machine hook up and find nothing. I have also done the monitor for 24hrs but nothing either as i didnt have an attack.
Normally they will hit without warning and last about 3-4 secs which feels like forever. At the same time i will start to feel light headed.
Well tonight i had one that lasted about 6 secs and that was a huge one, felt like i was going to pass out and then when finished i had tingling in my fingers on my left hand. Heart beats fast for about 3 mins afterwards.
I was just laying down on the lounge watching a movie. No stress, no triggers i can see. I do smoke and drink a glass of red about once a week. I am not overweight.

Is this how others feel when they have them????????????

if your doctor is telling you to wait, then you should see another doctor or go to the emergency room
its very important to find out what is going on, so you dont have life long problems
