The fact that the heart is at 50% is a good sign because the average norm is 60% anyway for left ventricular failure. This person should cut out as much salt in the diet, and will prob be put on bisoprolol and ramipril...give it a year or so, they' ll be much better. I know, because it happened to me last May 2012. I'm so much better now. But I've worked hard on staying healthy. I.e swimming every week, when I did no exercise b4 and no alcohol, smoking etc :) gd luck xx

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Well, it would be difficult to comment specifically on the situation without knowing the relevant clinical details. The part of the report just mentions the medical conditions without regard to the details to assess the severity. The LVEF is at the lower end of normal and the arrhythmia may need further description/ evaluation. It would be best to discuss the situation and the suggested management plan in detail with the treating cardiologist.
Hope this is helpful

Take care!
