High blood pressure

Hi, This is my first ever question anywhere and am glad to take part. My husband has high blood pressure and his pills will not bring it down. It has been 160 over 112 and we have tried everything. Is there something else I may need to check? Thanks to all help.

Don't eat salty food and cook everything that you eat at home with no salt. Use herbs.
