ED and arteriosclorosis

Urologist just diagnosed my ED as due to arteriosclorosis. Had high cholesterol, over 300 , 10 years ago, but after lipitor 20 mg have had "ideal" for 10 years....

is plaque still buidling up in my vessels even with ideal level, leading to arterioscloroisis?
Anything i can do at this point?
many thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do you call "ideal"? My total Cholesterol never went below 160. I was on Statins for 10 years. At the beginning I had no Calcium Phosphate deposits (CT-Scan). At the end my Calcium score was 1243 - in other words, lots of it. You could argue, I would be like Lots wife if it wasn't for the Statins, but there is no proof either way.

I have been having issues since 2007 and up until nearly 2 years ago, I had 10 stents + triple bypass. In 2007 I was diagnosed as having very high cholesterol and this was brought under control with Lipitor. Even with low cholesterol, I formed blockage after blockage. Looking back at my images, it appears that all disease that existed, continued to grow. No new disease seemed to form. Even 10% blockages grew to 90% + and had to be stented. Every year for three years I was in and out of hospital having more intervention. For the last 2 years I've had no stents, and things seemed to have settled down now. I hope this means that because there is no more existing disease un-stented that nothing new will form.
I did notice that with times of extreme stress, this seemed to accelerate the formation of existing disease into much larger blockages.
