I'm not sure what it means but my advise is if it is worring you maybe you should call your doctor and ask so you wont be worring about it so much.
My PCP said it was normal though I know what I have been feeling and it doesn't seem normal. I don't know if my meds need to be changed or something.. I am already on a beta-blocker for my blood pressure and for the MVP.
young people can have hypertension--sometimes the docs can track down the cause. usually it is treated with diet, exercise, & meds. Hydrochlorothiozide is often used, calcium, ACEs, ARBs, & betas. it can run in families with no real identifiable cause.
did your doctor tell you the ekg you are worried about is normal??
From the looks of the holter, you had normal palpitations and a possible svt.. if the doctor looked at the strips and determined it was a false positive, that should be reassuring, its easy for a doctor to spot the false positives and the actual svt's.
You cannot take an ekg's diagnosis of SVT as fact.. Any heart rate over 175 is automatically labeled that.. you need a doctor to tell you if it was actually svt or not.... If you are very concerned, call your doctor and ask him about the ekg, or take it to another doctor for a second opinion.
