Fast Heart Beat Medicine?

Hello:  I have Heart Disease, High blood pressure, I have been taking Atenolol for about 10years,
I also take Vytorin. Now I noticed I have been loosing my hair, I heard both atenolol and vytorin can have
this effect on some people. So the doctor is going to change both meds one at a time to see which maybe
making me loose my hair, we just changed my atenolol to "Metoprololo suc cer". but I just brought up
the side effects of that drug and it states you can loose your hair with that too, its only 1% but I think thats
what it is using atenolol too!
My question is, is there a medicine for fast heart beat that does not make you loose your hair?
Also, I suspect the Vytorin with doing the same thing, I heard women complain about this.
Please let me know what you think? Thanks, Regards, Tom

My cardio prescribed a calcium channel blocker (Diltiazem) and to my knowledge, that does not cause hair thinning.

I used to take Bisoprolol fumarate along with many other patients I knew and nobody
seemed to have that problem. It is quite a strong beta blocker hence me only needing
1.25mg daily. Maybe have a look and see if it suits your needs.
