Would reducing weight reduce the size of dilated aortic root and ascending aorta
I have a dilated ascending aorta 4.2cm, aortic root 4.3cm. I’m 53 yold, 76kg, 1.8m, normal blood pressure 120/75. Non-marfan, healthy otherwise. My bsa is 1.96cm/m2. I have reduced my weight to 73.5kg. Would this cause the aortic root and ascending aorta to reduce in size slightly ? I have mild regurgitation, no symptoms
