Lump in throat and chest pain - please answer

Any input would be appreciated as my other posts were not answered. Thanks in advance!

I have an intermittent feeling of a lump in my throat. It is usually accompanied by chest pain in the middle and upper chest. I have a feeling like my chest is full of air and my throat is swollen. There's no pain in my throat, just this annoying feeling of a lump. I have had a normal stressecho and holter monitor test, but I can't help feeling llike it could still be my heart. Sometimes it feels worse if I hunch forward. I have been having a little shortness of breath, especially when I have the lump in the throat feeling.

I have also been on Prilosec and Zantac for stomach issues if that's at all relevant.

Yes, Ed is right - a bit of exertion can set off heart related chest pain. If I rush around too much or carry groceries too far, too quickly, I get a good grab in the chest, feels like something going right through my chest and out my back. Makes me feel like a bug pinned to a corkboard. Not fun.

My throat discomfort is not like a 'lump' when angina sets in. The only way I can describe
it is to ask you to eat several very strong mint sweets. Chew them and swallow them as
quickly as you can. Now swallow a glass of very icy cold water. This is as close to the
feeling that you can get. Another thing to realise is that the temperature of the air affects
the throat discomfort with most people. On warm non windy days I hardly notice it. If I
breath cold air it hits me like a ton of rocks. This may sound silly, but it is something I've
tried and it proves mine is angina. Open the freezer, put your head inside and take some
deep breaths. After around 10 breaths you should start to notice your throat getting worse. If you exercise, just jump up and down on the spot a few times, it should also
worsen the feeling. If nothing affects it, then I'd bet it isn't circulatory related.

Is the "lump in the throat" feeling there all the time, sometimes or just briefly? Those of us that have PVC's will sometimes get that sudden lump in the throat feeling. I describe it more as feeling a thumb pressing on my throat but it passes within a heart beat or two.

I see your reflux issues are being handled. Perhaps not enough or if it's been a long time problem, you may have a bit of damage to the esophagus. Is your refux caused by a hiatal hernia? Perhaps that's worsened.

And thyroid/parathyroid are fine? Those are located in the neck.

I've had pleurisy once. Not a pleasant experience. Does it hurt when you inhale?
