MVP not sure what else to do with it

My Mitral Valve Prolapse (is my diagnosis) causes pain triggered by adrenaline. I am on a beta blocker. It helps but still when the big adrenaline comes it overrides the beta blocker. They upped me to 50 mg metoprolol and still enough adrenalin surmounts the drug. They cannot go higher on the dosage. My problem beside pain is that the CT scan showed 25% blockage on an artery in the front of the heart with artifact, so possibly more significant blockage. This is when my pain is in front. I am 39, my cholesterol is 129. I have been watching what I eat for a year and a half, but before that did not. I could get a heart cath. The Dr. Is pretty sure it's MVP. I only worry that the pain could be from excessive blockage and not the MVP. I have also had the Echo cardiogram, and the stress test.

What makes me believe it is that every time  my adrenaline goes off my heart hurts for a while. Sometimes a day to four days depending. Another thing that causes my heart to hurt is car exhaust if I am exposed to it even briefly.

mild is nothing to worry about and shouldn't cause symptoms. What makes you believe adrenaline is overcoming the beta blockers? is your heart pounding hard and fast?

Hi, what did the stress tests show? Stress testing helps to identify perfusion defects, indicating diminished blood supply to heart muscle. So, if this was normal its unlikely that the pain is due to angina. If the EKG was also normal, you don't have to worry about Mitral valve prolapse. Lifestyle modifications like avoidance of caffeine, exercise, relaxation techniques and pain relievers are advised. Beta blockers and aspirin are indicated if you have rhythm abnormalities or if prone for blood clots. Along with the medications focus on lifestyle measures to normalize lipid levels. Regards.
