I think i have been experiencing NSVT recently. Its like a few pvcs together and it feels like my heart it rolling around. It happens when i have eaten and i walk, especially if i walk upstairs. Is NSVT dangerous??
My doctor once caught premature beats, but other than that I can be feeling the fluttering and abnormal feelings for hours and they say my heart sounds good. I am taking lexapro and mild dosage of klonopin. They also wanted to add buspar.I am willing to try anything. These heart beats really scare me.It helps to know that I am not the only one with these problems. If anyone has further help or comments, please let me know.I've been thinking for years that they will someday do me in.
Try not to let the extra beats drive you crazy. Yeah, better said than done, I know. As long as you have a structurally normal heart, VT is not generally thought to be harmful. If it would give you peace of mind, ask your doctor about wearing a holter or an event monitor. That way, the doctor can "see" what you are feeling.
A lot of people describe PVC's and PAC's as kind of a flutter. I don't know about VT, but nsvt (shorter in duration) will catch your attention as the heart is beating oddly for several beats in a row. For me, it is like a rolling or tumbling feeling.
Hope that helps. Have a great day!
Also i heard that some people that have these go into A-Fib .. how do i know if this is happening????
