Palpitations

I tend to get strange symptoms. It is as if I am detached from the world for a couple of seconds then I feel a rush of adrenaline and a strange feeling in my chest that last for a couple of seconds then goes away leaving me on edge for hours or even days.

I also tend to get the feeling that my heart stops and then it feels like a sneeze in my chest followed my once again an adrenaline rush. Is this how palpitations feel for you? Should I be worried?

I have had a holter, 4+ EKGS, ECHO, and monitored telemetry in the ER while I had symptoms as well as similar symptoms during the ECHO, but not on the holter.

the feelings of being dissociated from the world is classic of panic attacks.. Yes, palpitations for me feel similar to what you describe... It sounds as if you where on a monitor while you where symptomatic? If so, this should be reassuring..

hope this helps!

Holter didn't catch anything to serious, but telemetry and ECHO 3 lead caught a ton of sensations. I guess since no alarms went off or doctor came rushing in, that it wasn't too serious.

It's good that you have been on a monitoring device while you had symptoms, that should offer some peace of mind.

As for the symptoms you describe, yes.  Many of my PACs feel just like that.  Mostly, when I am more anxious than usual.
