I had a 5 CABG in December 2015 at which time they removed the major vein in my right leg and the upper portion in my leftt leg. I now have excruciating pain in my right buttock area and down my right leg and also around my right knee and lower leg.I can barely walk at times due to the extreme pain. I just had a Doppler test yesterday and the technician said that the pain is quite common, but the surgeons don't want to tell the patients because they are afraid that the patient won't go through with the surgery. He is right because I would have rather taken my chances rather that becoming an invalid from the operation. Now my ability to partake in life is severely limited and I have had to cancel a lifetime dream of traveling throughout Europe, Egypt and Africa. My doctor said it may further exacerbate the pain and at times I don't want to go on with the amount of pain I am having much less increasing the pain. There doesn't seem to be any cure, at least none that I could find on line.
I'll give Punkin 222's idea of mustard treatment a try. If anyone else has a suggestion I would be most interested, as at this point I will try anything!
