Carotid duplex examination using B-mode, color flow and spectral Doppler was
performed.
Right: There is mild calcific irregular plaque of the right internal carotid
artery and velocities consistent with <50% stenosis.
Left: There is moderate calcific irregular plaque of the left internal carotid
artery and velocities consistent with 50-69% stenosis.
There is antegrade flow in the vertebral arteries bilaterally.
