Timing of Lipitor

I have noticed that my Lipitor bottle suggests that it should be taken during the evening meal. What is the reason/advantage of this timing?

All the advice I have had is not to take drugs like we all do on an empty stomach , it is far safer and less damaging if there is food in your stomach at the same time as the drugs , I was also advised that with night tablets even a milo or a glass of milk ( lite of course ) is beneficial in protecting our internals from the harsh actions of the drugs we take .

My instructions say to take it at bedtime. I read that cholestrol is made during the night, but of course I don't know if that's true.
