hi everyone amber's ablation was unsuccessful as they were not ablate on the left and we now know that 97% of pac's are coming from the left. they tried to in through the aortic valve, but had to stop. at first he thought she had a SVA (sinus valsalva aneurysm) so they kept her overnight and did a TEE the next day. it was determined that what was seen in the aortic valve is part of the pseudoaneurysm at the mitral aortic junction that has been present since birth. the good part of this was that after the TEE, they brought in their new 3D echo machine to get new pictures of the defect and brought in dr william armstrong, who is the director of echocardiology at the u of m (the nurse pulled me aside and told me he is the nation's leading dr of echocardiology) so maybe he will have a better idea of how to proceed from here. good news is that her ef is up to 42% since adding digoxin, so we will go back to med regimen and wait to see what all of the dr's come up with thanks for all the support dawn
