could my constant fatigue & lightheadedness be due to heart problems?

((:
Dear doctor(s),
i experience daily spells of mental 'blackouts' where i feel very enervated (esp in my limbs) and an inability to think concisely- it's as if my mental functions slow down n i have difficulty stringing my words together.
i recently came to know of & suspected metabolic syndrome; since my waist size is slightly more than 80cm & my waist-to-hip ratio, 0.86, which i thought was mainly the result of disordered eating. i used to have extra heart sounds which was dismissed by my doctor years ago as nothing serious.. Thanks for your help!:))
