coumadin adn heart pounding

has any one out there had the heart pounding episodes, skip here and there and is on Coumadin ? i had been told that blood thinnners  make you more aware of the heart beat ?

Hi, Ruth. I would take my BP the next time it happens, just to see. And your heart rate, too. I'd also keep a record of what I'd eaten on the day that I got these episodes, since many foods and herbs and medications interact with Coumadin - making it either weaker or more powerful depending on the interaction.

This happens to me sometimes. I do have AF and am planning a future cyroblation to correct this. I am on Flecainide and it is controlling the AF problem but I am getting skipped beats occassionally after eating or after / during acid reflux problems. Why does this happen? Does ablation also correct this as well as the AF?
