heart bypass follow up

how often should I have cardiograph or stress test after bypass surgery it has now been 7 years.

Yes you normally get one follow up appointment around 6 weeks after the surgery to be checked over, and then you are left to it unless you feel odd symptoms or your regular Doctor feels you need to see the consultant again.

Hi, it is usually based on symptoms. If you develop symptoms of breathlessness or chest pain your doctor may recommend stress testing. Also, if there are ECG changes, stress testing may be warranted. Regards.
