help on cardiac arrest

If person suffered cardiac arrest and was cooled off and warmed up, and did not regain comciousness what test should be done to check brain activiy?

If there has been substantial loss of oxygenated blood to the brain with cardiac arrest that could effect the function of the brain as opposed to the structure, and more likely there is a functional disorder and an EKG, SPECT scan, or PET scan would be the appropriate tests.
