I'm a little worried about my heart lately..

I'm new here, so I'm sorry if I'm in the wrong category etc. I'm still trying to figure this thing out! :)
Okay, so basically since last fall I've been getting these strange attack things that I believe might have to do with my heart? The pain starts in my abdomen and moved upward to my neck and jaw. Radiates, if you will. It's really hard to explain. Sometimes they last a minute or two and sometimes it lasts 30 minutes. But here's the dilemma: I'm 17, I'm not overweight - never have been, I've had 2 ECG's, 2 chest x-rays, blood work etc. due to a fainting episode I had around a year ago but I'm not sure if these were the correct tests or not. I'm just really scared. It happens once sometimes one or twice every few months and it's really painful. Sometimes it's my right side and sometimes left. Sometimes both, too. That confuses me a little.
I AM going to go to the Doctor Monday and see if I can get another referral to the heart specialist. I'd just like to know someone's opinion on this beforehand.
Thank you so much.

I fainted because of Low Blood Pressure, never happened again though.
I get them at anytime but usually while propped up in bed? It's strange.. they pass pretty quickly, though besides the feeling that something is stuck in my esophagus. Frustrating, I haven't been to the doc yet, but I'm going to soon.

Hi

At your age it's unlikely to be serious so i would try not to worry.  At the same time you are right to check and I would definitely see the doctor.  I would also tell your parents if you are living with them because if you do faint again they need to know what might have been happening.

Do you get these episodes after exercise or while exercising?  or at any time?
