inside chest pain after swimming

yesterday i go swimming .. but before diving in to the pool .. i smoked 2 cigarettes.. after swimming my chest is aching like there is something inside.. i felt the pain for the whole day .. in the evening i got fever and my chest still hurts.. it is my first time to have chest pain.. please tell me some reasons why does it happen...  thanks .. i'm looking forward for the answers..

If it is related to the heart, the explanation could be the burden to the heart from a surge of oxygen demand due to the swimming exertion, possibly the cold water effect, and smoking inhibits good oxygen flow.  "Cold stress acting over a period of half-an-hour to several hours causes the blood to become more concentrated and increases the risk of a heart attack," said Professor Keatinge. "Shorter exposures to cold may make people more resistant to it, but there are risks. People who swim in the cold may suffer heart attacks".
