I really think the best next step you can take is to take your meds, don't think too much and too often about your heart, eat healthy and stay active and enjoy life.
Anxiety can fake a lot of pains and discomforts, some of them seem heart related.
A lot of people have harmless abnormalities in their ECG's.
You have had ECG and echo and a cardiologist has analysed the results and concluded you are ok.
I think you should trust his opinion that you are just fine.
As u know my condition ..thts y asking u .. today i went for walk n speed wasn't so fast recently i observed my pulse rate is increasing it was 90+ but usually i have 7o-80 bpm. suddenly i felt back pain ,,everyone was saying its happening just for anxiety ..but i really dont feel good when do something or ride on a vehicle.. my Ecg report never comes with a normal result.like sinus rythm, Nonspecific T wave abnormality(ii, aVf, V3,V4,V5).my cardio didn't suggest any medicine for my heart except Penicillin. Do i need anything?WHAT ll be my next step?
thanx a lot dear for ur reply :) last 12years i got fever almost every month so my Cardio doesn't want to take any chance. Its quiet weird for me to take antibiotics for 5yrs but he didn't give any medicine for my heart disease. One more thing, does this condition will change in MVP or Regurgitation?? should I take any step to stop these upcoming problems?
With what you describe, your heart seems to be fine. Mild thickening of the mitral leaflet will not cause shortness of breath or arrhythmia.
Rheumatic fever can however destroy your valves in a short time so avoiding recurring of the fever is of great importance. I do not know if it is needed to take 5 yrs of penicillin though.
