HiThere. Its understandable that people get so scared and paranoid when they hear they have heart failure. Its a wide ranging term, but people think its the beginning o fthe end. It takes a while to come to terms with it. You are probably suffering sideeffects from the meds, which have you wrecked. It will get a bit better. The meds are good for bringing the failure under control. They wont cure it, but will help in improving life. They usually want you to get out walking if you can tolerate it? Your effort tolerance may be limited with an ef of 10%. This may well improve over the next few months with the meds. I am in a similar position, am 51 male, 80kg, no history and got short of breadth, mad hypertension and ef 15%. that was 15 months ago. Things have stabilised and my ef gone up a good lot. So just try to keep calm if you can,it will get better
