Hi: happy to have helped you out !
You ask a good question : I wrote already 4 times and delted what I wrote back ! lol
so I try again -  Yep I get palps still -  I get them when drinking too much soda pop
getting mad at someone !  when I get excited !   if I eat too much (sometimes )
as I eat like abird :0)   ---  you know I can even think of palpations and make them happen !  just did it.. strange is'nt it ?

I think you just need your meds adjusted - hows the b.p readings ?  as I found alot of times my b.p is super high - reads around 167-100 and they start - im like a old model A
motor !  I get clusters of 2s and 4s .. sometimes 6s..

once the b.p dropps down to normal readings  thats around 134- 87 for me  !
being my age waight and size ..  the palps slow or stop !   when b.p dropps down .

I found being calm helps !  and not thinking of the darn palps helps!  and also putting my mind on something diffrent - than whats going on with me..

please remember everyone is diffrent !

If your having problems with the palps too much - its best to try and go to a local E.R.
or accute care center ..and let them take a look at you !  most times there is a cardiologist on hand , and he or she can take a close look at you , and give you something to stop the palps !    they can also adjust the meds your on !  as per your problems !

meny ways to go !

and it all depends on how you feel - and what you really want !

that was a hard question to ansure -  hope again that I helped you out here ..
and didnt confuse you !

take care and well wishes to you

Hi: if your on beta blocker ,it should help slowing or stopping the palps down.
how long have you been on beta blocker ? in some cases, you may have to go back to your doctor and get the medication adjusted - or change it to maybe a ccb type b.p med to stop the palps .  I have had palps since 1986, they are not fun and are very bothersome! they always hit when you least expect them ! drives me up a wall sometimes !!   I have found its best to stay calm - and try not to think of the palps happenig,as the mind can set them off - as well I found by taking Natural Calm powder
drink a few times a day - helps to slow the palps down and clams me right down ! works wonders most times !  you can buy this at all healthfood stores or online or even on ebay

its always best to see your doctor first and let him /her adjust the meds to counter act the palps -or change the meds to another type of med .

I feel for you, and know how you feel , with fear and being uspet with the palps happening to you.  why me !!!    but the more I feared and got mad at the palps ,the worse they got (so it seemed )   its best to keep very calm and relaxed - and think of nothing or something other than the darn palps !   it sometimes works..
try the Natural Calm  see if it helps you ..  you can drink it 2 or 4 times a day as its a food and totaly Natural .. so no fears of side effects !   cant hurt ?

good luck and take care ..
