short of breath after eating?!

I have shortness of breath-usually mild--after eating. Can also have the startup of the dreaded palpitations after eating--and not always a big meal either. This doesnt happen all the time. I suffer from anxiety too..so it could be that Im just "anticipating" that the shortness of breath will occur...
or the darn palps!
Anybody else ever have this happen?

what did they do about the occuled stent and did it help with your SOB.  I have a stent in the RCA (Taxus) that is now partially closed.  The Cypher stents are still open.  I too have SOB symptoms with palpitations.  I want someone to do a mini bypass around that Taxus stent..

Yes.  But I also have reflux.  I don't get the burning, just feel short of air and get esophageal spasms.  Those are HORRID things.  Sometimes it kicks my palps into gear as well.  Do you have reflux?  I do notice when I keep mine under control, I don't feel the other symptoms near as much.

Shortness of breath after eating and palpatations was my outstanding symptom for 6 months, finally when all I could eat for lunch at work was a cereal bar and had lost 13 pounds I had a cardiac cath-which showed my drug eluding stent was occluded in my LAD. It takes a lot of blood in the gut to digest food. I now eat small frequent meals.
