3-4 PVCs in a row

Hello.  I'm 38 and otherwise healthy and I exercise regularly.

I've had to deal with PVCs on and off for years.  I've been told not to worry about them by my Dr.  However, last night, after dinner when I was sitting watching TV I had a sensation with PVCs that was new to me.  I had what felt like 3 or maybe even 4 in a row.  In that moment it felt like my normal heart beat would never return.  I thought I might die.  I didn't have any all day before that.  It was definitely different than the ones I felt before.  No pain anywhere just scary!!!  Is this a concern?

I had the same but 6 beats. The doc was not concerned since my heart is normal and strong. I get mostly signle beat PVCs.

As Michelle stated, as long as it doesn't last over 30 seconds or you have other symptoms such as passing out, SOB etc. its not a concern.

In an otherwise healthy heart runs of pvcs, if this is actually what was happening and not some other sort of pattern of them like bigeminy, but runs that do not sustain for longer than 30 seconds are not considered a concern for the overall health of your heart especially if you did not experience any troubling symtoms with them like shortness of breath, dizziness or fainting.  I might call the doctor's office just to be sure but you are likely OK, though only a doctor can say that for certain.  So I would say call the office and see what they have to say and whether or not you should come in for an appointment.  That said, unless you are experiencing these types of episodes at least once a month you may not be able to get an accurate diagnosis at this time but again follow your gut about seeing the doctor or not.  Take care.
