Now that you mentioned it, In the last 8-9 months i have started snoring so loud that my husband has been forced to sleep in the basement. Before then I did snore but faintly.
I guess I will have to really try and get in touch with my normal physician and discuss the snoring and the results of the test while waiting the 7 months to see the cardiologist for his consultation ( Cant believe they can ask anyone to wait that long to go over the tests). I guess i wanted to know that there was nothing sticking out with big red flags until then.
vasovagal response would explain fainting while using the bathroom
google fainting or syncope and you'll get alot of explantions and other reasons someone can faint
do you snore? tired or fatigued during the day, wake up frequently at night? could you have sleep apnea? I was positive I didn't have OSA and was surprised when I was 1% away from the severe stage
If you're having dizziness, high hr and some other things you listed, you may want to mention a head up tilt table test to check if they can find out why. Since you had a bp monitor, you can try this at home.
Lay down for 15 min take your bp/hr; and again at 1, 3, 10 minutes, then stand up and repeat the same thing - take your bp/hr again at 1, 3, 10 minutes - do this once in the morning, afternoon and evening.
Then on another day try the same thing again - make sure you write down date and times etc when you do this and once or twice a week.
If you notice your hr/bp is off quite a bit or seems out of sync of "normal" then you may want to up your appt and tell your dr what you've done and ask about the HuTT.
If you faint again, I would def request a tilt test asap.
Thank you for helping me understand the test results. I have been on pins and needles since being rushed to the hospital not knowing what was happening..
My heart rate has never bothered me before except for maybe feeling my heart pounding as if i had been running ( which i wasnt doing) . Since being at the hospital, i Have been getting dizzy when laying down or getting every day ( which is new ) as i never had any issues that were concerning.
I dont believe im a anxious person but i do have mood swings from being Bipolar.
Could you or anyone else explain what you mean from #3 and the fainting ( I have never before fainted or been lethargic before this or since. I do get dizzy for a brief couple of seconds when i first lay down or first get up from laying down ( almost like the blood is rushing to my head ) and then in a few seconds is gone.
Hope to hear from you again or others.. thank you
I went back over the tests and it is as typed at reading Bradycardia Events/beats 3/9
Longest run: 3 beats at 20bpm at 11:41D1
Pause > 2.0 Seconds Absent.
A
I can comment your results.
Seems like a quite normal Holter report, with a couple of exceptions.
1. Your average heart rate is high, both at daytime and at night. Do you know the cause of this? Does it bother you? Some people just have natural high heart rate, but a cause may be hyperthyreoidism, which possibly should be examined and ruled out.
2. Your ectopic beats (PACs and PVCs) are not a concern. You've got a few PVCs (we all do) and you have quite frequent atrial premature beats (PACs). Are you an anxious person?
3. I don't understand the "bradycardia" part. It says 3 beats at 20 bpm, but no pauses longer than 2 secs. A heart rate of 20 indicate 3 second intervals, are you sure this is correct? If you have runs at 20 bpm this can explain your fainting and lethargy.
Most important, your dizziness probably can't be explained by your heart rhythm (as your dizziness events show normal sinus rhythm on ECG).
I see you have RBBB. This is usually a benign condition, but some people with RBBB may need a pacemaker later.
Sorry a quick and incomplete answer, I can come back later and explain more, and other people here will help you as well :) Anyway, your ECG seems quite normal, but ask your doctor to examine your fast heart rate (he will probably do this anyway)
Good luck!
