question (kind of stupid)

I remember once reading a post about someone having reactions to certain ingredients in face creams which caused her heart to skip.  Does anyone know of any specific ingredient that could cause some heart flutters. (I think it started with a p) Mine has been pretty good lately, but I switched my creams and really like them but my heart has been skipping when I go to bed.  One of them is some type of collegen booster (by serious skincare).  I love love it but was wondering if there is something in it making my heart flutter.  Just wondering.  Hope everyone is doing well and if that certain person is reading this, please let me know what it was that you are sensitive to.

In the evening before bed. drink a cup of oatstraw tea. Your heart rate will slow and disturbances in your heart rate such as pallpitations and tachycardia will diminish or disappear.

Yes, that DMDM stuff is in one of the new face products I have.  I didn't use it last night and didn't feel any palps.  I'm going to use it tonight and see what happens.   They aren't bad and they only go on for about an hour but it isn't the norm for me.  And, you were a lot of help.  Plus the information is interesting.  Thanks again

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.  Every time I google "heart palpitations and skin," the ingredient "DMDM Hydantoin" keeps coming up.  It comes in shampoo, cosmetics, nail polish remover.  It can cause heart palpitations.

Thanks for the info.  I'll look it over.  I wish I could just remember what that one woman said about a certain ingredient.
