Brandon,
did you get my note?
Rose
I have WPW and have had 2 episodes of tachy which required trips to the ER. I will have 1 procedure on the 20th. Yes he has 4 yrs experience with in ablations. I was referred by my cardiologist, there are no EP's where I live.
I will be released the same day as the procedure.
Thanks

Hi
I am not familiar with Intermountain Medical Center, but have had 2 ablations. Why are you having an ablation? Will you be having two procedures (March 19 & 20)? When you say four years of experience, do you mean in performing ablations, in EP, or in general cardiology? Is he practicing full-time as an eletrophysiologist? If so, he is probably well versed on the latest procedures and working with a skilled team. Were you referred by your own EP?
My experiences with ablations were very good. Both procedures were successful, and were for frequent pvcs, but at different locations. I was multifocal so I had two separate procedures to target two dominant foci. I was given Versed and Fentynl before the procedures and have very little recollection of either ablation. I remember toward the end of each procedure, but nothing much before, and nothing during. I stayed in the hospital overnight each time and went home the next morning. If you have specific questions, please don't hesitate to ask. There are several members who have had recent ablations.
Good luck!
