HEART PALPS, ALWAYS ANXIOUS!

Im getting really frustrated with the fact my heart accelerates dramatically after i eat, it leaves me feeling so nervous! it literally THUDS soo hard which is really uncomfortable when im in uni listening to a lecture and taking notes, its making me so depressed...! Sometimes i get headaches with it too....just had a blood test done and awaiting results, im generally anxious which doesnt help i cant focus on anythinggggggggggg else, someone told me i may have hypoglycemia as I'm faint when i dont eat etc! When i climb train station stairs my heart goes frantic, other times its okay i dont get it! :-(.. im around 5'7 and weigh 57kilos. I had an ecg like 2yrs ago which turned out fine. Does anyone else get this? HElp! its ruining my life!

yes, I have that.  My doctor called it inappropriate sinus tachycardia.  I take 1/4 of a 25mg of atenolol daily and it completely supresses it.  It keeps my heart under 85 (usually around 72) and has worked wonders for that condition.
Sometimes after I eat a big meal, it would beat so fast I would have to bend over.  I mean I felt like I just ran a marathan.  It also made my arms feel weak.
It isn't life threatening  but there is no reason to have to live with it.  There are many drugs that can control it.
Good luck
