HI, I am a 17 year old male. 5'6 weighing 140LBS. I was extremely active the first 15 years of my life and have a good resting heart rate of around 65. I have been experiencing chest pain, lightheadness, tachycardia(very brief runs), and pvcs for about 2 years now. My cardiologist has put me onto a 30 day event monitor. I am three weeks into the monitor and here is what they've found. Pvcs on a moderate frequency. And wide-complex tachycardia last 4beats 6beats and 12beats the heart rate during these episodes varied from 125 to 150. When these happen i feel anxious, sweaty, chest pain, and lightheaded, and very weak. I went in to see my doctor and he has told me over and over that this is not going to kill me, that i have a structurally normal heart (he did an echo just to be safe) he says he understands my worriness but that it seems benign. He agrees that the symptoms are an issue and wants to do a tilt table test and then decide what medication to give me to help me. He said the words i will fix you do not worry. I am starting to wonder and I am just wanting everyones thoughts. Should I get a second opinion? Is what I have really dangerous? Is what I am experiecing consider non-sustained VTach? I have very little exercise tolerence, hot weather makes it worse, my arms and legs feel strange sometimes, and it has made me very anxious. Please any opinions are helpful :)
