Hello

Hi I have a question about 9 months before I got palpitations went to my cardiologist ECG done everything was accurate. 1 week after the heartbeat is repeated but this time felt sick again and went to a cardiologist who said that there was no cause for alarm 1 month after it began to feel extrasystoles.
Put me Holter 24, echocardiography, ECG nothing to worry about the doctor said,a mild mitral prolapse Calpe in regulation (0-I) which should not trouble me and so have complaints of fatigue and extrasystoles.
Also visited a neurologist who prescribed me tht comlex vitamin b and so I continue to feel these extrasystoles and generally that's what worries me, the last time I had a lot of pressure and my grandmother died recently, also my blood pressure is slightly high 140/80, slightly elevated cholesterol 5.8 mmol my age is 22 years, height 187 centimeters, weight 85. Whether it comes from stress or have room for concern.
Thank you in advance
PS: I apologize if the writing is slightly confusing but I write a translator:)
Also add that at times I am very afraid it is not serious

Thank you for your answer and greetings from Bulgaria

First thanks for quick response on the second opinion I went through 6 the best cardiologist in the clinic here in Bulgaria and all they tell me that I had nothing and that is due to stress and recommended me to go through a neurologist because everything came from the central nervous system and neurologist that told me to drink vitamins.
But I do not feel special effect, but a slight change, but still not as before, still think that I have anything but the doctors say I am completely healthy only diagnosis that I was called cardiac neurosis. And do not drink much only occasion, smoke cigarettes but I'm trying to stop them, not taking drugs and I have not taken a never.
Only go to a psychotherapist that will help?

PS: Happy new year to you 2  :)

I guess i am very confused ....why did your heart doctor put you on Vitamin B for palpitations?  Mitral Valve Prolapse is a very common condition no matter if you are in Bulgaria or the United States.  The doctor did the ECG and said that there was nothing to worry about then you had another episode and said the same thing but caught the mitral valve problem,  I don't know how medical care is in your country but i would seriously consider getting a second opinion if that is at all possible where you are.  Go on line on your computer and search out heart doctors in your area and then look for other people who commented on the doctor to see if he/she has good reviews.  You have alot of good things going for you...your age, height and weight and your cholesterol is not too high.  The thing is.....your blood pressure is a little high and with mitral valve prolapse it is usually much much lower because of how our body compensates for the heart condition.  Something just doesn't sound right here .....i would definately get another opinion from another doctor.  Stressing out about this condition could definately effect your heart.....

Welcome to the Heart Rhythm Community - I have read you (first) post and send a Happy New Year to you and all.

It seems you've had the best of medical care, and thus there isn't much I can recommend, you've already done it.  If your blood pressure remains high, is consistently high I think you should talk to your doctor about treatment to lower it... may be a simple diet change.

One thing is clear, emotional stress can cause heart problem symptoms when there is nothing wrong with the heart itself.   For the non-metric readers in the USA I'll translate your height and weight to:  6 foot 1 inch and 187 pounds - looks healthy too.
