First off, don't be terrified. WPW can be present without being of serious consequence. People can have WPW and never even experience a run of SVT. A very small number of people with WPW fall into a high rish category, so I wouldn't sweat it. It's interesting that you've had an ablation for some form of AVNRT, but Wolff-Parkinson-White is a form of AVRT (what I had). It might be a good idea to talk to your normal physician at your earliest convenience to determine if you indeed have a problem or not, especially with the arrhythmia that apparently this doctor sees, but you aren't feeling. But, yes, the ablated tissue can regrow forcing another ablation. It's also possible that the errant conductive tissue was fully bridged during your first ablation and has redeveloped to a point where it once again serving as the accessory parthway.
Hi there, I'm not WPW knowledgeable, however I would call my EP to ask if WPW can develop suddenly. A quick phone call may put you at ease. Your EP's office can have the last EKG results be sent to them from the GP and the EP can determine if your GP's opinion was valid. I wouldn't put too much stock into the GP's interpretation, exp since your EP never diagnosed you with WPW. Call them all and insist so that you can relax before tomorrow. Also I doubt that the GP would dismiss you if indeed you were in any serious arrhythmia, so dropping dead at the concert is an anxious response. Good luck to you and I hope you enjoy the concert tomorrow.
I went to the doctor because I've been having dizziness at times and feeling faint... but it could be my iron or something else... he did allot of blood work. It is so hard for me to trust doctors. I do have a wonderful ep doctor that helped me bring back my life... I'm trying not to let this doctor I saw today get me down... I just need someone to tell me you can't just develop wpw or that it would have shown up on the ep study if I had it.
