Flecainide

They give me some flecianide and the Dr told me how dangerouse it was to be careful with it, the drugest ask me did I know what they had given me,and My PCP said your nuts if you take it,I wouldnt take it for all the money in the world!
Now , if that tells you any thingl about this drug. It has killed people and did more damage than help. Now there are some people who can take it , thats great. The big deal is who is going to be the one in so many who die or stroke out from it ,trying it! So I opped not to take it and my Cardi man fired me, Dr Paydak and His lady Dr pc nurse. They told me you dont have a cardi man any more and if Looks would have killed, well you know!    UAMS LR AR Heart Dept . How nice of them! Then they said we can not help you any longer so you dont need us, Thats their sly way of getting me out and them in the clear!

I have had a positive EXP with Flecainide. I started taking it back in 1995 and still take it today. I take 150 mgs twice a day with 50 mgs of mtoprol for control of PVC`s and V-Tach.

Well if a beta blocker helps then there's no need to take the extra risks of Flecainide.  I know one person who had used Flecaininde for several years to control flutter, maybe atrial fibrillation too and has had good results.  I have read on this community of people having good and bad experiences. Those with bad experiences stop taking it.

If one can "live with" just a beta blocker, or with benign conditions and no medication, then that may be the best path for them to follow.

Best of luck,
