Thank you, thank you!! I REALLY appreciate your reply! I just really hate my stupid heart...my doc wants to put me on "Pristiq", have you heard of this? I'm the type of person that absolutely hates medicine...for fear of side effects...you know...death, heart attack, pulmonary embolism...breathing issues....lol..yeah, I'd love to try something to settle me down but I constantly live in fear!

Hi,
To me it doesn't sound serious at all. We all have beats like this during a day, but only a few of us are "lucky" enough to sense them. We that can sense them often react to them, which only has one effect, that we get more of them.
Premature beats that occur when we're taking a deep breath are usually PACs. They often occur because blood flow in the heart changes, the blood meets the upper chambers and the pulmonary veins, they stretch and releases a PAC.
When you force a fart, or something else on the toilet, it's completely normal to get a slow heart rate for a beat or more, like you say, a vagal reaction. It's that way the body works. We can't change that. Of course, prolonged anxiety can cause temporary autonomic imbalances that makes every natural phenomenon more pronounced.
I can see from your post that you are anxious right now. I understand that. It's in the nature of benign cardiac arrhythmias. We can be completely sure that it's a benign phenomenon, but it's still discomforting and scary. It often helps to know that no matter how unpleasant it feels, the heart won't stop. And it will go away, until the next premature beat hits us, and we get scared again. It's just like that our hearts work, no matter how good they are.
