Hey i know that in the beginning i wasn't a doc person either but knew that it wasn't up to me anymore....if you have issues w. the doc you are seeing its simple keep going until you find one that you trust and are comfortable with. Heart docs in my opinion tend to be a little more patient and candid w. their patients than a regular GP and you really need to find someone that makes you feel like you matter and isn't in a rush to go out and deliver a baby....or sit you in a waiting room for 45 min. Most heart docs have all of the bases covered....i know i had to get through three of them to find the one i've had for over 10 years now and he is totally amazing and patient. Go for it and one of the best ways is to look on line in your area and google out a potential cardiologist and see what pops up w. comments from some of his patients. Good luck Wizardbee......
Will do...have to get with the doc too..although I'm not a doc person...really have issues with a doc visit..have to d do it though...thanks Cindy
I would definately go on line and google out diltiazem and missed heart beats and the same w. alcohol use w. the drug but just be sure it is either a doc or a pharmaceutical co. that offers you the info not some random person or study...if you have A Fib now is not the time to get creative..........................
