Thanks so much! Yes, we have a monitor now and are checking it at home also. Still high there. I first thoughts were that it was "white coat" because she hated going to the gynecologist. It seems though, she has the same readings at home. Hopefully, we will get to the root cause, if there is one. I guess she could just be hypertensive. She does tend to get stressed over things.
My son who is 10 just had an emergency appendectomy a couple weeks ago. He is a very healthy little guy overall.
When I took him to Dr his bp was very high. All throughout the hospital stay it was very high similar to your daughters. The lower number was over 100 I remember....
I was very concerned due to my own heart issues.
Someone mentioned "white coat syndrome". Where they get nervous and it makes their bp go up. My son does not like going to dr and does get nervous.. I recall this about every time I have taken him for check ups.
My neighbor loaned me her bp monitor and I checked his when we got home and after a few days and it went back to "normal".
In fact my blood pressure is lower when taken at home as well.
(Used to take it at Rite Aid)
Of course this is not medical advice, but it may be worth borrowing one or getting one to have at home to check it when she is comfortable.
Also, it will be good to monitor it if she is taking bp meds.
I have tried Metaprolol Tartrate and it was very effective at lowering mine.
I am still learning about bp and have questions myself about how it varies throughout the day and with stress vrs resting and peaceful....
Best of health to you and your daughter!
Here's a link to a very similar discussion in which the doctor weighs in, too:

For sure, her kidney function should be investigated.
No, she doesn't drink any of that or take any supplements.
Does she drink a lot of those sports drinks? They contain a lot of sodium.
