(((HUGS))) Please, please, please call a suicide help line before you do anything. Stress is likely the trigger for your pacs though I would not doubt changes in meds can bring them on. They are harmless in a healthy heart. If you haven't had your heart evaluated you may want to get checked out just to be sure since you do have thyroid issues. I am quite surprised you were taken off meds. I thought the point of being on them was to keep you in range so being in range while on the meds says to me that you have the proper dosage. I would change doctors immediately. Is it that you don't have many doctors in your town? Maybe check the towns next to you as a start if you do indeed live in a small town. I would also post your question in the Thyroid forum. This forum is mostly related to heart rhythm issues and though you do have pacs it sounds like your thyroid imbalance needs to be addressed more than the pacs. But please do call someone before taking any drastic steps. No matter the family situations I am sure you would be severely missed. Stay strong and go and find a doctor who will treat you as you deserve to be treated. Take care. I do hope you feel better soon. (((HUGS)))
I've been hypo and told labs are in NORMAL range with Synthroid. I was on combo Synthroid/Cytomel combination for 15 years and felt NORMAL. My GP who controlled my levels retired :( (My new young GP, goes by labs
)and NOT how I'm feeling. It's 2 years now and I think she thinks I'm a NUT CASE. I've now developed PACs. I was sent to a 72 year old ENDO who obviously only goes by the numbers. He took me off Cytomel. This combo, 15 years ago was determined what I needed to absorb the meds. I now have PACs that awaken me at night. I don't sleep much. They are 5-/10 every miinute. Due to family situations I've been VERY stressed since 2001. NOW I get only 4-5 hours of sleep, if any, have been diagnosed with PACs, very much lightheaded, food don't taste right that I barely eat. I cant process instructions, Lost 20 lbs, the PACs was determined by a treadmill test. I am lethargic, ALWAYS cold even in 100 degree weather, hair falling out, nails breaking down so low in the nail bed, that touching anything hurts., I'm very irritable and lash out on those who stand by me. I'm alone with no children. I try to look good but look like a ghost. My legs and feet / toes, arms, eyebrows go into charley horses. I am at my wits end. I look like hell. Help or I will stop the madness by my own hand. I will travel ANYWHERE in the USA for immediate help. Life is not worth it now. I have s gun. ANYBODY ????? HELP ME SOMEONE !!!

Not sure this helps, but I read where palps are a possible side effect of thyroid medicine (if you're taking more than necessary). Seems to be more associated with HYPERthyroidism....If I find anything helpful, I'll pass it along.
Have you checked out the thyroid forum?
Hi,
I have wondered that myself. I went to the doctor for PAC's and they did blood work and found out I was hypothyroid and I had no idea. I have been on the thyroid replacement pill for almost 2 years and I still get them from time to time and have other crazy symptoms. Sorry I wasn't much help...but, at least I moved you back up the top. lol :)
