My ablation

My ablation is scheduled for sept ninth at nine am. It will be done in las Vegas NV since I live in Bullhead Az they don't do them here. Dr yosef Kahn will be doing the ablation. I am scared but relieved at the same time since I have lived with this for 25 years. Has anyone had a ablation done in Vegas if so by whom?

I had mine done at Highland Park Hospital in Illinois with Dr Nazari.  He is a bit of a hoot but has a gentle way about him.  He did not discount me when I came back with a lot of ectopics after the ablation.  He treated me kindly and explained things instead of brushing them off which I appreciated.  He is a little far for you though but I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I did not have mine done in Vegas but did have one.  You can read about it in my journal entry if you click on my name.  The anticipation and fear of doing it was way worse than the actual ablation.  I had mine done almost 4 years ago and though I still experience some ectopic beats they aren't as strong as they initially were after the ablation and I have not had any svt.  Mine was avnrt.  Best of luck.  I will keep you in my thoughts that day.  Keep us posted on how it goes.  Sorry you have to wait so long but it will be worth it.  Take care.
