Is it normal to be able to feel your heart beating everywhere in your body? Depending on what position I'm in, my heart beats so forcefully that it shakes my body. If I'm sitting on the couch with my back against it, I can feel my heart beating through my back, head and neck, and if I'm laying in bed on my stomach, I feel it everywhere on the front of my body, from my face to my chest, stomach, thighs, and feet. My heart beat is so forceful that I can actually feel different parts of my body shaking with every beat. Sometimes it's very easy to see the shaking, but sometimes I'm only able to feel it. It's really distracting because I can always feel it in my head. It feels like I'm always bobbing my head up and down or side to side. No matter which position I'm in, I can always see my abdomen pulsing, too.
I do have sinus tachycardia. My heart rate is rarely under 100 bpm. It's usually around 110 or 115 but it often goes up to 140. I have normal blood pressure, 110/70. I'm 21 now, female, but this has been happening since I've been 14 or 15 years old. It has recently been getting more noticeable though.
