in recovery now...all went well

My ablation took 7 hours and doc said I had a very unusual tachycardia. Something about the muscle between the chambers of the heart on the left side. Couldn't take it all in as I am just happy to be alive. I had general anesthsia so I am feeling queasy but otherwise ok. Not feeling  palps or pvcs either. Yay!

Thank you so much for all your kind thoughts! Lisa, great idea!

I'm super tired...couldn't sleep because the nurses kept coming in to check my bp/hr. Then a code red was announced at like 3am and they woke me up at 6:30. Have had quite a few ectopics (the ones where it feels like someone punched me in the chest) and it hurts to breathe deeply. Wondering if I had a tee as my throat hurts. Plus I am starving as I am a vegetarian and they brought me chicken for dinner. I've only eaten a banana since Monday at 5pm. Looking forward to going home. Thanks again everyone!!

That's wonderful news; hope you continue to feel better and a full recovery.  Remember to get a copy of your surgery report from the dr so you know what that tachy was =)
