Thanks!!! I also didn't think it has anuthing to do with the MVP ...I do not know much about Tachycardia ...but last year they did the stress test and ultra sound of my heart and ekg....and I have my labs done every 3 months ...would this have shown up it any of these test????
A resting HR over 100 is considered the onset of Tachycardia, a high heart rate condition. At your age I'd think, especially with your taking a low dose beta blocker, your resting HR should be below 80. There are many factors that affect the HR, and you haven't given much information for us (me) to relate. In general I think MVP does not cause a high resting HR, it think the MVP (if mild, a common condition of us humans) not related to you higher than "normal" HR. Yes, always best to talk with a doctor who has you history and can run some tests if needed.
