Scared to death. Irregular heart beats?

I am a 29 year old female. No health problems. I smoke, I drink sometimes on the weekends. I weigh 134 lbs. I have been told to have anxiety I seem to control that without medication.  I am currently not on any medication. I have recently started experiencing heart flutter different than any I've had through out my life. My heart beats normal and then it seems to stop then start again, usually faster about 90ish bpm. Then normal. This goes on and on all day long and for the past 3 weeks. I just went to the Doctor last week i was given an ekg which showed nothing because my heart acted normal during that test! I was then prescribed klonopin, which I did NOT take because I feared something else was going on so after much pressure to the doctor I wore a 24 hour holter monitor which I had over 60 episodes, the results came back saying everything was normal, with no explanation. I know these things are happening I can feel them with my finger on my neck and the it feels like a bubble/flutter. Am I crazy because I'm terrified and starting to think my doctor don't care. I am afraid of doing anything strenuous due to these heart abnormalities. I am becoming depressed thinking no one can help me figure out what is going on. I recently drank alcohol and the whole time I drank I didn't have ONE heart palpitation. What is going on, does anyone have any info or anything else I can do?

If you were having run of the mill PVC's (a common type of premature heart beat) they would tell you it was "normal." And having 60 PVC's in a day is considered to be a minor issue.

The problem is that they aren't giving you all the information you need to feel safe and comfortable with your heart rhythm. You may choose to visit another doctor or get tough with the doctor you've seen and insist they take the time to explain clearly what's going on.

I drink NO caffeine ever, because of my anxiety. I am taking NO meds nor have taken any other than my depo shot. My point on drinking was i was having them prior to drinking and after having some beers They stopped. My aggravation is about the holter monitor, I just got the results today and they said they were normal!  I just can't believe that due to the frequency of my issues and stuff, and maybe with an explanation I could feel better about this seeing they are still occuring all day and her plan of action is to take klonopin which I do not want to take. Thank you for your response I look forward to any words of wisdom I can get.

There are many, many, things that can trigger an irregular heart rate.  Smoking and drinking  can certainly be two of them.  The fact that you drank and didn't experience them doesn't mean anything.  Do you drink a lot of caffeine too?   If you had 60 episodes on the Holter monitor, what did your Dr say that was? Have you taken any new drugs or health supplements lately?  Do you feel extra tired or short of breath?  Allergy meds? The list could go on and on.  If you don't get a decent explanation from your Dr it may be time to go Dr shopping.  Good luck, I hope you feel better soon.

I also wanted to add I have been on Depo Provera for 15  years a few month off here and there, I have one child 6 years old. I was wondering if the Depo could cause anything due to hormones or anything. I am currently off Depo was due about 1 month ago.
