I'm game LOL Let's make it challenging. A - Anxiety (which many with heart issues certainly feel) Now it's the letter "Y" (Hint: you can use a dictionary, especially a medical dictionary on line :-)
Y - Yoga (A system of exercisesfor attaining bodily or mental control and well-being with liberation of the self and union with the universal spirit).
Certainly, we can all use mental control when it comes to worrying (anxiety) from these PVC's/heart rhythm problems.
Okay so now the letter is "A" again! hehe...
Steph
A - Arrhythmia
That was too easy..... How about "O"
This is better than work!!!!
A - Adrenaline: A hormone secreted by the adrenal medulla that is released into the bloodstream in response to physical or mental stress, as from fear or injury. It initiates many bodily responses, including the stimulation of heart action and an increase in blood pressure, metabolic rate, and blood glucose concentration.
Hmmm...I am sure none of us have ever had a rush of adrenaline because of our hearts...lol...
"E" is the choice for the next contestant...Come on Down *Smile*
These are great!! Definitely better than work : )
EchocardiograM........I'm sterring clear of echocardiography : )
"M" is next......Give the wheel a spin!
Myocardium, myocarditis, mitral valve prolapse!
WOW! The next player has a choice between "M", "S" or "E"!
Min sort of got left behind... How about "O"
No fair...that's THREE terms...M, S and E
Myocardial infarction
Sinus Tachycardia
EKG
Now...whoever picks up from here, just pick ONE of the three ending letters (N, A or G)
Ha Ha Ha...that spells NAG :-)
O=Organ
That's two words that end in "N"--so N it is for the next person...
Nap (muc needed after a long day with PVC's! =o)
"P" is next in line... Hmmm, wonder what someone will come up with here! ;o)~
Steph
Propanolol........and I'll bet you thought it would be PVC's : )
"L" it is!
LOVE
Makes the heart skip a beat....or two.
Back to E
Electrophysiologist-now it is a T.
Trust that these Pvc's/Pac's, are benign!! =o)
So now we have another T!
Toprol--at least 1/4 of us have taken it.....
Laughter--the best medicine
So, now you are on "R"
(Too bad no-one has gotten an "S" for support or an "F" for friends...you are all the BEST for helping to deal with an overactive pump!!!)
Relaxation, (we all need to do more of)
N?
NSR (normal sinus rhythm) .......what we all aspire to : )
Relaxation exercises basically involve the flexing and releasing of major muscle groups. People are often unaware of how much muscle tension they have built up in their bodies until they do one of these exercises.
