"Fast" is a relative term. How fast was it? 120bpm can be "fast" to one person, while 250bpm is "fast" to another. Changes in internal pressures can trigger a tachycardia event which in turn can cause a "shakiness" feeling. If this ever happens again, it would be of immense help to measure your heart rate.
I sometimes have this happen. In fact, as strange as it sounds, I usually have a pounding heartbeat with any bowel movement, as well as tingling in my head and neck. When I've mentioned it to doctors, they just look at me strangely, so I don't bring it up anymore.
